On 12 October 2025 Domenica di Carta returns. This year’s national theme is “Family archives”.
For the occasion, the Cagliari State Archives are organising the documentary exhibition “Letters to the family”, which will introduce the public to some of the most important family archives held by the Institute.
Through a guided tour, visitors will discover the families and their private and emotional lives, reconstructing a past that comes alive through letters and photographs.
The event is promoted by the Ministry of Culture to enhance Italy’s archival and library heritage through exhibitions, events and displays.
First admission at 10:00 a.m.; last admission at 12:00 noon.
