The Scuola di Archivistica, Paleografia e Diplomatica di Cagliari is one of the 17 specialization educational organizations governed by the D.P.R. 30 September 1963 n. 1409 (Art. 14 and tab. B).

Established at the State Archives of Cagliari, the School forms archivists through a two-year specialization path, governed by national law. Training is oriented towards the protection, ordering and description of the public documentary heritage, as well as the management of contemporary documentary systems.

Biennium 2026-2028

The new educational cycle of the School of Archival Studies, Palaeography and Diplomatics.

The Biennium 2026–2028 proposes a post-graduate specialization path articulated in common teachings, two specialist tracks – paleographic and contemporary – and optional activities. The cycle accompanies students in the acquisition of historical, legal and technical-scientific skills to operate in historical archives and contemporary document systems.
