The Study Room allows you to consult the documentary holdings preserved by the State Archives of Cagliari and access services related to archival research. Through the Study Room web app, you can request consultation or other services concerning records you have identified and, whenever you need guidance, request assistance from Archives staff.
How the web app works

Sign in using your digital identity or, where applicable, create a new account.

Select the Institute
Search for and select the State Archives of Cagliari. If this is your first visit, complete your registration for the Institute’s services.

From your personal area, you can create a new request and choose the service that best meets your needs.

Enter the details of the unit you have identified. For services concerning a specific document, the system uses this information to identify the requested material.

Select the service you want to request and complete the required information. Some fields change depending on the service selected.

Complete the request
Where applicable, choose the date or other options available for the service.

Review and confirm
Review the summary and confirm your request. You can then track its progress from your personal area.
Request assistance from our staff
You do not need to know the archival reference to ask for help.
