Biennial educational cycle of the School of Archival Studies, Palaeography and Diplomatics

The Biennium 2026–2028 is a postgraduate specialization path dedicated to advanced training of archivists, articulated in compulsory teachings, specialist addresses, optional activities and course examinations, until the achievement of the Specialization Diploma for archivists.

The 2024–2026 formative cycle of the School of Archival Studies, Palaeography and Diplomatics of the State Archives of Cagliari is part of the national system of the Schools established at the State Archives and aims to develop advanced technical-scientific skills for the exercise of the archival profession.
The course has two-year duration and includes a plan of the educational offer articulated in compulsory teachings, teachings characterized by the palaeography track and the contemporary archives track, optional teachings and a final test. The achievement of the diploma is subject to the attainment of at least 120 credits, including credits assigned to the final test. Teachings can also be organized in one or more modules with differentiated content.
