Correspondence exchanged between two or more parties. It normally consists of letters received and drafts or copies of letters sent, and is often arranged by sender. In family or personal archives it may take the form of a collection of letters. In the archives of public organisations, correspondence comprises institutional communications between different bodies or between bodies and citizens.
